Hello everyone!!
How are you?:)
I have a new companion- her name is Sister Tikeri and she is from Kiripati, an island in the South Pacific, close to Fiji. She's only 2 months ahead of me, so we were both pretty surprised! Two foreigners and relatively new on the mission too! She's so humble and full of faith though, and this week has been so happy and full of faith and just complete reliance on the Lord. Life is so good:)
I'm so grateful for this gospel. There's no other way to live- the light and the goodness of our Savior is the way to happiness and eternal life and I feel so blessed to know about Him and the gospel. I know that we all matter to Him individually, no matter where we are and that this gospel is true- if it wasn't there would be no way for us to be able to get around in this country and speak the language and especially help people experience the change to the gospel in their lives:) He's watching over us every day:)
Sorry this is short, I'm not that great at writing about personal experiences haha, but I'm happy and I hope you're happy! Just turn to the Savior and be full of faith! Just go and do and live and enjoy:) Life is good:)
Thanks for everything and I love you all!
Mahal ko kayo,
Sister Allen
PS to her Dad: This week we had a CSP- or community service project with the ward. We cleaned up under a bridge, cleaning out trash from the river there. It was one of my favorite things I've done here! (Actually there's a lot of favorites, but whatever). But I just dug right in and it was the best feeling to just work super hard physically again- I was sweaty, muddy, soaked with water (and sweat), and smelled like fishy water, but it was just the best! I am still a country girl at heart I've realized- nothing will ever change that and I definitely belong outside:) Thank you for your example and support of hard work and grit...country grown and raised...there's nothing better! :)
