This week was awesome as usual:) Nothing very specific...just that this week flew by again!
The best part of the week was this Saturday, we had the opportunity to go to the temple to witness the sealing of one of the families that Sister Caoile taught in her first area a year ago. It was just a day full of love for everyone around me and love for the Lord- we are so incredibly blessed, sometimes I can't even handle it haha:)
We left for Manila around 6:30 and got to the temple at 9:00. Turns out their sealing wasn't until 2:00 in the afternoon so we just got to spend time in the temple, reading and pondering. I read the entire Book of Matthew in the New Testament and that was one of the most uplifting and enlightening scriptures studies I've had for a while- I am so grateful for the Savior's perfect example of obedience, love, selflessness and dedication to His father. He shows us what life is really supposed to be: pure, clean, full of light and service and love...there's no other way:) There was also another sister who was waiting for a different sealing and by the end of the day, we were best friends! She was so sweet and sincere and was a great example to me of dedication to the Lord.
The sealing itself was incredible. The spirit was so strong and again I was reminded of what life really should be- the worldy things don't matter! It's all about the Lord and coming closer to Him and helping all around us return to Him too. I had never met this family before, but I felt such love and happiness for them! It's amazing that the gospel can unite people no matter their backgrounds or situations or even if you only met them for a minute...with the help of the Lord we can love EVERYONE!!! The whole wide world is our family and friends!! It's pretty much the best life ever:)
Man...words can't really describe my feelings right now, so I won't try haha, but I'm so grateful for this gospel and for the restored truths we have about eternal families and the things we need to do now in order for us to return to our Heavenly Father again. I know He lives. I know this is the only way. I know our spiritual growth and happiness depends on US, so stop making excuses about why you deserve to be sad. Just don't:). We are so so blessed!
I love you all and am so proud of you!!! Keep being you and I'm grateful for each and every one of your examples to me.
Love you for eternities,
Sister Allen
