This is just a short one, things have been crazy this last weekend! If you've been watching the news or the Internet, maybe you'll know but Typhoon Lando passed through our mission this weekend. It made landfall right in Baler Sunday morning, but luckily President Clark had us all evacuate Baler Zone on Friday so we spent the weekend in Cabanatuhan. We'll be headed back to Baler after emails, so I still don't know how everyone is, but I do know that the Lord has definetly been protecting us this week. I guess it was supposed to be a signal no. 3, but turned out stronger and more intense than predicted. It was basically a Super Typhoon they said. So yeah...it's been an exciting past few days.
But the good thing is that we're safe. I've never felt my mother's prayers stronger than I did this weekend...I know that Heavenly Father was watching out for my family and comforting them just as much as He was watching out for me. I'm also grateful for our leaders and their inspired counsel, and for the promptings of the Spirit that kept us safe.
I also got news a couple weeks ago and forgot to tell you that Brother Ron from my first area got baptized in September!! I think I mentioned him a couple times, that missionaries had been teaching him for so many years and still nothing happened, but now it has!!!! Sister Tikeri showed me a picture and then I got an email from his wife, and I cried...so hard. I love them so much and I'm grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who never forgets His children here on earth.
Thank you for your love, I'm sorry Mom and Dad and family that I can't email you personally right now, but I will next time:)
Love you all!!
