Hey everyone!! Kumusta po kayo? I hope everything is going well and I love you all!
This week, actually these last couple weeks have been incredible. As in our area is exploding! I don't know what happened, but it's been amazing and I know that this is God's work. In Preach my Gospel we are taught that we are to share the gospel with everyone, with the whole world. I have come to appreciate and love that because this gospel is for everyone. Choosing a religion isn't just like choosing clothes or a candybar- it doesn't depend on your personal taste or if it's convenient, this is the only way and I've come to see that this week as people from different backgrounds and situations have come to know their Savior better because of this gospel. Yesterday we had 9 investigators come to church and as I sat and watched them in Sacrament meeting and in the classes, I realized that our work has missionaries is much more than just baptizing numbers. It's not about that at all. It's about helping people come into the fold of God, to come to know their Savior better and to become ready for the temple and eternal life. It's hard for me to explain, but I hope I never forget the feelings in my heart right now and the miracles we're seeing in this area.
I know that God directs the work. I know that I am nothing. Like really,as in wala! A stubborn, hard-headed instrument that the Lord is still willing to work with, thankfully. I know this gospel is true. I know there is a power beyond my own that is helping the people here come unto the true knowledge of their Heavenly Father and Redeemer and I am so incredibly happy for them.
I love you all and I hope you enjoy the pictures. I wish you could meet all the people here:)
Mahal na mahal ko kayo,
Sister Allen :)
